Press Conference on HB 437
State Rep.David Bates announced
the New Hampshire House has
scheduled a vote on March 21, 2012
for legislation (HB 437) intending to
return state law to the true meaning
of marriage in New Hampshire -
the union of one man & one woman.
He also released details of a floor
amendment for that legislation
that he will offer on that date.

House Bill 437
HB 437 is a bill currently under consideration in the New Hampshire legislature.
When passed, it will restore the language in our state laws that defined marriage as "the union of one man and one woman".
